SOLIDARITY IN ACTION: Precise
Technology workers rallied outside the plant on June 6th to call on the company to
negotiate a fair settlement. Despite their difficulties, the members of Local 645 and
supporters raised $226 for the striking members of UE Local 611. Above, Local 611 Pres.

Precise Technology workers, members of UE Local 645, are continuing to press their
employer to negotiate a fair contract. Local 645 members have been working without a
contract since February 2nd; the company is seeking a number of givebacks.
At a rally held earlier this summer by Local 645, UE District 6 members and
supporters gathered outside the Precise Technology plant to offer their support. Among
those shown in the photo collage at left are UE General-Secretary Bob Clark and District 6
President Dan Smith. The company, said Clark, is "Precisely wrong," if it thinks
it can trample the rights of these hard-working union members.
