Thirty Years in Office!

	Robert Lee Gillette

Local 714 members wonder how many locals have an officer dedicated enough to serve in the same office for 30 years. Local 714 can boast of its recording secretary, Robert Lee Gillette, who is regarded by co-workers as "a very busy and dedicated worker." He began working for G&C Foundry in Sandusky, Ohio on April 11, 1968; not long after the local recording secretary thought the young man was well suited for the job and encouraged him to run for the office. Gillette has been recording secretary ever since.
