New UE Contract Gives
Winneshiek Road Crew
$1.50 Over 3 Years
DECORAH, Iowa
The Winneshiek County road crew, members of UE Local 869, have ratified a
new contract with the county that will add 50 cents to hourly wages in each of the three
years covered by the agreement.
As a result of this contract, for the first time vacations, sick leave and
holidays will be added to the computation of overtime.
The Local 869 Negotiating Committee consisted of Pres. Don Keefe
and committee members Darrell Sersland and Larry Lechenberg. They were
assisted by UE Field Org. Rocky DeMaio.
