CLEAN HOUSE ON ELECTION DAY

UE members have a job to do on Election Day, Tuesday November 7th. President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, and Republican Party politicians have made an enormous mess. It’s time to remove as many of them from office as possible. In places where they do not control things, we better make sure that we prevent them from winning office and making things even worse. While Bush and Cheney won’t be on the ballot, on November 7th we’ll have a chance to defeat as many of their political followers at the national and state levels as possible.

Here’s just a sample of the failed policies
of Bush - Cheney - Republican Party rule:

• More than 3.5 million U.S. manufacturing jobs destroyed since 2000.
• Public sector budgets and workforces under attack and stretched to the limit.
• 46 million people without health insurance coverage.
• No end in sight to Iraq war and no plan to bring our troops home.
• Biggest federal debt, trade deficits, and personal debt in U.S. history.

• Outsourcing and privatization running riot.
• Record breaking gasoline and energy prices.
• Private and public sector pension systems under attack.
• Unfair attacks on immigrant workers.
• Runaway increases in the cost of living coupled with falling wages.
• Nothing done to prosecute rampant corporate crime, fraud, and abuse.
